Why does 回家 look like this?
回: A large box (outside) enclosing a smaller box (inside), representing the idea of returning or revolving back to a starting point. 家: A roof (宀) over a pig (豕). In ancient China, keeping a pig under your roof signified a settled, stable home and prosperity. Together, they mean returning to the place where your heart and family are!
